At Brighter Shades Ahead, I only use a USA-manufactured gel that is all-natural, plant and mineral-based, and contains no preservatives. The active ingredient is a food-grade (17%) hydrogen peroxide. It is a non-abrasive formula that will not damage existing dental work and can be used to brighten any stains accumulated on crowns and veneers as well. All products used are registered with the FDA and HDA (Holistic Dental Association). I also apply an enamel sealer at the end of every treatment. This helps remineralize and strengthen your enamel and creates a protective barrier that helps minimize the risk of new stains, allowing you to enjoy your favorite foods and drinks immediately after your appointment.
